GALL BLADDER SURVEY - UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE

Breed Health Co-ordinator Doctor Eddie Houston BVMS, MRCVS, has provided details of a survey being carried out by the the University of Cambridge which relates to a project which is trying to establish if there any dietary factors common to gall bladder disease.

In inviting Border terrier owners to complete this survey the Internal Medicine team at the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital hope to be able to understand more about gall bladder disease in the breed, with their eventual aim being to identify factors that increase the probability of disease in individual animals.

Eddie askes that all border terrier owners takes a look at this survey and writes 'replies are welcome from ALL owners, not just from those with affected dogs.'

Eddie also reminds all owners to fill in the Breed Health Survey questionnaire. Again this should be completed for all border terriers not just those with medical issues.
